Chocolate and Red wine, must be in heaven

Monday 27th October
This morning we visited an interesting man in Tournon. Not only does he make his own wine but also makes his own Chocolate. We tried a couple of different style Shiraz's and paired them with different style chocolate. What a great sport and intend to get more practise with this one at home.
The rest of the day is cruising and watching the day go by. We sail to Vienne.
Arrive just as it gets dark

Tuesday 28th October
It is a foggy morning in Vienne but we explore the town anyway.

We have a guide but it was a bit like a Monty Python scrip.

We are french and better than the Romans, after all what did they ever give us.

Except this roman road, ohh and the amphitheater, this aquaduct the law court but apart from all that they gave us nothing.

Another magic church although they are starting to all look the same. Midday we sail to Lyon so another leisurely afternoon on deck with red wine in hand.

Arrive just early enough for a tour of the city before dinner. Most of the city is just a modern city with more impressive churches but we did do a walk through the old town. That was interesting with lots of little cafes and quirky stores.
