Let's have truffles

Yes another hilltop village, would appear the early French had nothing else to do. This one is Grignan. But it was very nice. The area is covered by lavender farms, unfortunately we are out of season.
But then some fun when we visit a truffle farm. The site we visited uses dogs to find the truffles under oak trees.
Emy the dog sniffed then out in no time. 
That is when she wasn't playing up to the tourists.
Afternoon of cruising up the river to Tournon.
As you would expect, sloping hills down to the River covered with grape vines. It is only the occassional lock which spoils the easy cruising.
