Monday 10th November.
Big morning of walking around the back streets. Lots of bars and Tapas Restaurants and even stumbled into a red light area. (No free samples)
Pastries are good in France but cold meats particularly dried ham is definitely Spain.
The streets are so quiet before midday, it is definitely a night city.
But it is good having Aussie eating habits, you go out at 7:30, find a good restaurant then ask for a table for two and told "sorry sir we are fully booked, but can fit you in if you leave by 11:30pm."
A Chicken Paella for dinner but I did think it tasted like Frogs Leg Paella, very nice just the same.
Have found it very easy getting into the afternoon siesta way of life.
A little kip has gone down well, we are on holidays and should get into local customs.
