Sunday 9th November
We arrive at Madrid, pleased to say very uneventful transfer between holidays.
Well Carolyn has done it again, a cracker of a hotel in a great area. One of the main plaza's 2 minutes away and tapas restaurants every where. The main square was busy at 3pm which suprised us as we thought it all closes down for arvo siesta. We return at 8pm and guess what it was quiet as now it is buzzing.
Found a little place in a little quiet street and gave the local food a go. A number of small dishes all good.
Chorizo sausages in cider and stuffed peppers won me over.
When we left the square had gone from buzzing to throbbing.
We were dying but the locals were just getting started.
