Mistral wind and another hilltop village, not a good combination

Friday 24th October
They have a thing called a Mistal wind here which blows for a day or so once a week. The wind gets concentrated down the Rhone Valley. Today is one of those days and we leave the boat to go to Les Baux de Provence. Yep a hilltop fortress where it is blowing even more. But first a visit to an Olive mill. Super modern equipment washing, crushing and centrifuging the olives. We wandered through the plant with no safety shoes, no coloured vest and no hairnet. We do over do it in Australia. Onto the fortress and wow was it blowing. Magic town though, and right on the hilltop they had neat catapults and battering rams. Because we have not eaten enough with dinner last night and breakfast this morning lets race back for another massive hot meal. The food is good but.
More walkies, this time around Arles.

Big roman infuence here, mini colloseum and amphitheatre. Pretty little town.

Well time for another big meal. Let's get into it
