We leave Monte to give the wallet a bit of a rest and head to the boat.
But first we explore Nice.
We go straight to the old town and the markets. Wish we had this variety at home, but we don't have to cook so sat down and a slow coffee watching the others shop.
A bit of a ramble along the garden strip which is full of fountains then along the esplanade where all the posh hotels are.
Onto the boat, check in and orientation. Quickly followed by welcome drinks to loose that orientation. We have about 120 passengers out of a maximum 150.
Dinner is full on and the wine flows.
